Chairman of Batumi Municipality City Council Suliko Tebidze and the members of the council attended public discussion about the amendments to the Constitution of Adjara Autonomous Republic. Chairman of the Supreme Council of Adjara Davit Gabaidze and the members of the Organizing Commission discussed the amendments in details. The meeting was held at Shota Rustaveli Batumi State University. The public discussion of the project will be completed tomorrow after the meeting with public workers, after which the Supreme Council will discuss the document. Constitutional amendments should be approved by three hearings.
The public discussion was attended by the students of different universities, representatives of academic circle, as well as the members of the representative body of the previous convocation.
