The Ukrainian Delegation at Batumi City Council

The acting chairman of Batumi City Council- Lasha Sirabidze, together with the City Council members hosted the Ukrainian delegation. The meeting was held in the frames of the new project “Georgian Experience for local communities” by the Ukrainian non-governmental organization “International Institute for Development of local self-governments”.
The Ukrainian delegation consisted of deputies, journalists, leaders of social organizations, education workers and was headed by the project manager – Natalia Byk. The members of the delegation asked questions about the reforms implemented in Batumi in various fields, such as: education, health care, tourism and public sector.
The meeting was attended by the Vice-Mayor of Batumi- Bagrat Manvelidze, the Deputy Mayor-Aleksandre Mitaishvili and by the representatives of Batumi City Hall.
In the frames of the visit to Ajara the Ukrainian delegation will conduct meetings with the representatives of all the local self-governments of Ajara AR
