Stated meeting was held in Batumi Municipality City Council, where were discussed seven issues foreseen by the agenda. By the decision received at the meeting, changes were made in 2016 budget of Batumi, according to which there will be done changes in the payments according to the separate programs/sub-programs of Batumi Municipality. Particularly, changes were done in the programs of road infrastructure rehabilitation, capital construction and project estimate documents, also time planning changes were done in the sphere of culture for encouragement of free initiatives and drafting of memorials.  As for the issue concerning Georgian Football Development Fund financing with the aim of football development, presentation was held by the Vice-president of Georgian Football Federation-Nika Jgarkava and leader of the fund Zaza Dolidze, who were specially invited at the meeting of City Council.  Trainer of Batumi “Dinamo” Otar Phedichkin, President of Ajara Football Federation-Irakli Totladze were also invited at the meeting. After discussions and heated arguments, majority of the members of City Council supported changes to be fulfilled in the 2016 budget of Batumi and issue concerning financing of (Non-profit legal entity) Georgian Football Development Fund.
Members of City Council gave consent to the mayor of Batumi City to give to the “Batumi Boulevard” section of beaches from Kvariati to Green Cape  ( till November of 2016 year) free of charge, in the form of usufruct. Aim of the given project is preparation of beaches of Batumi for Summer Season. Making appropriate infrastructure and organization of services for tourists.
By the decision of the members of City Council, on the house situated in Batumi, #10 David Kldiashvili St will be installed memorial plague of Petre Breus. Petre Breus has great contribution in the development and popularization of water sport in Georgia, particularly in Ajara. Expression of the appraisement of this contribution is that Batumi Municipality finances international tournament in water-polo which is held among youths till 18 age on Petre Breus Cup.
Members of City Council listened to the report of 2015 year purchase plan, also there were proven regulations of Batumi Municipality City Hall’s Internal Audit Service, which was developed in a new way with consideration of legislative changes.
Majority of deputies supported changes in regulation #84 of 2015 year, 25th of December about giving real estate to Ajara Autonomous Republic free of charge with rights on property. According to the change, LTD “”Vestinvest”” specified investment sentence and its fulfillment schedule about giving non-agricultural land to them, situated in Batumi, Rustaveli Street, on the territory of former hotel “”Meskheti”” with direct transfer of the ownership.
LTD “”Vestinvest”” takes obligation to fulfill investment of 25 million GEL on the given territory. Members of City Council did not support abolishment of #75 regulation of 2010 year, 31th of August, according to which lands given to the property of Ajara Autonomous Republic should be given back to the ownership of Batumi Municipality.
Meeting of Batumi City Council attended: Mayor of Batumi-Giorgi Ermakov, Vice-Mayor Bagrat Manvelidze, Deputy Mayor Alexandre Mitaishvili, heads of City Hall’s departments, non-governmental organizations and representatives of the society.
