Chairman of Batumi City Council Suliko Tebidze and Deputy Chairman of the Faction “Georgian Dream-Democratic Georgia” Besarion Gogotishvili attended the regional presentation of electronic petition platform- ichange.gov.ge at the center of Civic Engagement. Ichange.gov.ge is an official government platform for citizens' electronic petitions, under which the Georgian government's administration has taken responsibility for implementation according to the Open Government Partnership Action Plan. With the help of the portal an adult citizen of Georgia or a group of citizens can draw the attention of the Government of Georgia through petition on the particular issue.
Meetings held in the regions of Georgia about the Petition Platform are organized by NGO "SIDA" and Georgian Young Lawyers Association.
