On 29-th of March Batumi Youth City Council session was held at Batumi City Council Session Hall. The session was attended by the Deputy Chairman of Batumi City Council- Irakli Chavleishvili and the Chairman of the Faction “Georgian Dream-Republicans” – Theimuraz Kurashvili. 
The members of the Youth City Council chose five commission chairmen and discussed future projects. Irakli Chavleishvili talked about the self-government role and introduced the specifics of City Council work in details. 
Batumi Youth City Council has 25 members and a chairman. They are X-XI-XII graders with high academic performance. Within the project students are provided with trainings, they meet with politicians, experts and public figures.
