Basic issues of health and social defense politics are: Increase of accessibility of high quality medical service to the population, assistance of integration of social medical groups and social rehabilitation, protection of financial risks that were not covered by acting state medical programs, assistance in development of Batumi as medical tourism center and increase of medical services in different institutions.
