Today, members of City Council made monitoring of the local municipal canteens.
The initiative of the women sector of City Council Natalia Zoidze, Natalia Dzidziguri and Neriman Tsintsadze joined member of the Parliament of Georgia Phati Khalvashi, during the whole day the coordination of the visit was leaded by the head of Social Services Agency Aslan Geladze.
The members of City Council visited six municipal canteens and spoke with the beneficiaries; they also checked the quality of prepared meal and attended the process of giving food, after the monitoring was cleared out that the beneficiaries of free canteens are satisfied with service as well as the quality of food. Members of City Council noted that it would be better to make changes in the menu and they will work on these issues in the nearest period. By the said of the head of Social Services Agency, there are six municipal canteens in the city and they serve for 4 800 beneficiaries.
