10 years have passed from August War of 2008 year, today were remembered heroes who died in Russia-Georgia War.
The Chairman of Ajara Government Tornike Rijvadze, The Chairman of Supreme Council Davit Gabaidze, The Chairman of City Council Suliko Tebidze, the Mayor of City Lasha Komakhidze and members of Batumi City Council, Supreme Council and Ministers honored memory of the soldiers who died in August War. By the information of the Ministry of Defense in Russia-Georgia War of 2008 year, 169 military servants were dead, among them 17 soldiers were from Ajara, two from Batumi.
