Members of Batumi City Council-Natalia Zoidze and Neriman Tsintsadze attended anniversary evening dedicated to the 85th birthday of Professor Ramaz Surmanidze in Akaki Tsereteli Public Library.
Ramaz Surmanidze during the years was occupied with scientific, organizational activity. He was head of Batumi Healthcare department, Minister of Ajara Healthcare, deputy of Ajara Supreme Council, member of Batumi City Council. His scientific works, historic researches, essays and novels are always subject of interest. The Professor Ramaz Surmanidze is elected as the member of Medical Ecological and Science Medical Academy; he is honored doctor of Ajara and Georgia, is warded with the Medal of Honor.
