The Gender Equality Council of Batumi Municipality City Council held a regular working meeting today. The members of the Council discussed gender quotation issues, family violence and events planned in the framework of "Gender Equality Week".
After the meeting, the members of the Gender Equality Council together with the representatives of NGOs moved to Rose Square and organized a small performance.
Gender Equality Week is held annually from March 3 to March 9 and is supported by the UN Women’s Organization.
