Today was carried out meeting of financial and economic development commission, were members of commission discussed issued connected with the insurance with living apartment people who were damaged in fire on 21st of September, 2013 year on #11 Z.Gamsakhurdia St, after fire was burnt 221 square meter plot after which nine families were left without living apartment. By the decision of commission of Ajara Autonomous Republic, Batumi City Hall distributed 45 000 GEL for the families; also they were given recommendation for restoration of the house in the frames of old Batumi project. Though, restoration of the living house wasn’t fulfilled and investor wasn’t found.

As it was said on the meeting, for the repair of the houses totally was given 107 thousand GEL; The given amounts will be foreseen in the 2018 budget of Batumi municipality, with this aim it is planned to make changes in the resolution #41 of 26 December, 2017 year of Batumi Municipality. Members of commission supported presented issue and considered advisable to discuss it on the meeting of City Council.
Commission also discussed issue presented by the faction “United National Movement” about increase of salary for the teachers’ of kindergarten with minimum 100 GEL”. Majority of the members of the commission didn’t support to present this issue at the meeting of City Council as by the said of the Head of Financial-Economic Department of City Hall-Archil Vanadze, City Hall has already received decision about increase of the salary with 20 percent from February, increase is from 60 GEL to 80 Gel, though it is not final amount, during the current year it will be increased again. At the nearest meeting of City Council, City Hall plans to offer concrete sentences about salary and definition of its concrete amount. Commission was guided by the chairman of Financial and Economic Development Commission Zurab Nakaidze.
