The opening ceremony of Egnate Ninoshvili’s memorial sculpture was dedicated to writer’s 124-th birth anniversary. The ceremony was attended by Chairman of Batumi Municipality City Council – Suliko Tebidze, Mayor of Batumi – Lasha Komakhidze, Minister of Culture and Sports of Ajara – Inga Shamilishvili, Minister of Health and Social Affairs- Zaal Mikeladze, Members of Batumi City Council, Chairman of the Writers Union of Adjara -Davit Tedoradze and invited guests.
Jimson Gurgenadze is the author of Egnate Ninoshvili’s sculpture. The memorial is located on the opposite side of Batumi Maritime State Academy, along the crossing point of Rustaveli and Griboyedov streets.
