Members of the Health and Social Issues Commission discussed about waste timber remained after trees and plants lopping and cutting on Batumi Municipality area to be delivered to socially vulnerable families.
Draft resolution was introduced to the Commission members by Zaza Jibladze - Deputy Chief of the City Hall Health and Social Issues Service and Dimitry Tcheishvili – Chairperson of the Health and Social Issues Commission.
The document provides delivering of timber materials for residents of Batumi Municipality, living beyond the poverty lines, which are registered in the database of socially vulnerable families.
According to the draft resolution, City Hall Health and Social Issues Service will be in charge to distribute timber materials on the ground of received applications to those individuals, who have relatively low rating scores in the database of socially vulnerable families.
Timber will be distributed equally, but not more than 3m3. According to the project, by the introducing of the City Hall Health and Social Issues Service, on the ground of the decision made by the Deputy Mayor of Batumi Municipality, timber materials will be delivered from the City Hall’s Property Management store.
According to the Commission members’ decision, the draft resolution will be discussed at the City Council’s regular session, on January 18. In case of the document’s support by the City Council, the resolution will enter into the force wright after its signing.
