In the commissions of Batumi City Council is continued discussion of the future year project of main financial document. At the session of Education, Culture, Tourism and Sport Issues Commission, the Head of Education, Culture, Sport and Youth Service of Batumi City Hall-Merab Kidzinidze presented programs and sub-programs foreseen by 2018 year budget project. By the said of Merab Kidzinidze, from the budget of educational sphere, next year will be assigned 14, 844, 7 GEL. The indicated amounts will be used for pre-school upbringing and education, for professional education and higher education support and support of general education. From the budget project is assigned 12, 312, 9 GEL in the sphere of Culture, Youth and Sport for the development of sport, municipal sport infrastructure and programs of care and protection. Cultural events and festivals according to the future year project will be financed with 

2, 410, 7 GEL, support of cultural-educational activity with - 2, 120, 3 GEL, support of youth development with - 125, 8 GEL. By the said of the Head of Education, Culture, Sport and Youth Service of Batumi City Hall- Merab Kidzinidze, the sphere of education still stays as priority direction of Batumi Municipality. Majority of the members of commission supported discussion of issues connected with the project of the future year budget on the meeting of Batumi City Council. The session that was headed by Irakli Pataridze-the Chairman of Education, Culture, Tourism and Sport Issues Commission of City Council attended representatives of non-governmental sector and society.
