Newly invited City Council has carried out one more extraordinary session today. The session was led by the Chairperson – Suliko Tebidze. Members of the City Council have discussed four issues provided by the agenda. The Council took note of issue of premature termination of the authority of the National Movement member - Evgeni Kuntchulia on the basis of his personal statement. His substitute will be introduced before the City Council by the district election commission in the nearest future.  This very day the City Council handed over several land plots on Gogebashvili Street with property right to the Autonomous Republic of Ajara for the purpose of implementing the construction of the overpass on the same street.  According to the project construction of the overpass will substantially increase the safe and intense cargo transportation in the given section including receiving and delivery of cargo by railway transport to the seaport. Members of the City Council also supported the issue on the activities to be carried out in order to maintain untended land plots and buildings existing in Batumi Municipality area. By the project introduced, the relevant departments of the City Hall are obliged to descript untended and risky places existing on the city area, after which the specific places will be photographed and other activities will be carried out.  As for the last question provided by the agenda on changes to be made in the City Council resolution #8 0f 28th of April, 2017, only technical change has been made in it, but not essential. Extraordinary session was attended by public and the City Hall services representatives.
