Today, at the City Council of Batumi assembled the working group studying the issue of preschool institutions voucherization. The working group was created according to the Chairman’s order on the ground of the proposal of the “Georgian Dream” faction, and is headed by the member of the City Council – Natalia Zoidze. The group consists of members of the City Council, the relevant services of Batumi City Hall, civil Registry, the private kindergarten and the N (N) L E – “Batumi Kindergarten Union” representatives. 
It was said at the meeting that it is planned to move to a new system of the funding of Kindergartens. The head of the working group Natalia Zoidze considers that funding vouchers will unload Municipal Kindergartens, and the problems of place will no longer be so acute, as it was in previous years. The group members discussed specific proposals on the basis of which, in the nearest future, will be developed the concept of preschool institutions voucherization and submitted to the City Council.    
Natalia Zoidze familiarized the audience with the facts taken from Public Service Development Agency’s electronic database of June 6, 2016 according to which in Batumi are registered 2 869 aged three to four years, 2809 –aged four to five years, and 2 788 –aged five to six years children.
