21 March-the World Down Syndrome Day, connected with this day members of Gender Equality Council of Batumi City Council visited rehabilitation center “Tana”.

Members of council made special gifts to the hosts, they presented concert with small actors, at the end of the event members of Gender Equality Council together with children made memorable photos and promised active support in future, 21 March-the World Down Syndrome Day was established on 10th of November, 2011 year and it is celebrated in many countries of the world among them in Georgia from 2012 year, aim of which is increase of awareness of population and integration of the people with down syndrome in society.
