“Shindisi Heroes” square was opened in Batumi today. The chairman of Batumi City Council- Irakli Tcheishvili, members of the city council, the chairman of Ajara AR Government - Archil Khabadze, the Mayor- Girogi Ermakovi and the representatives of civil society have attended the opening ceremony.

Today, the honor was given to the memory of those heroes who died for the homeland.

Today at the meeting hall of Batumi City Council ”Civil Initiative Group” existed under “Batumi Gender Consultation Council” made presentation of ”Generation’s Cultural Dialogue” , as the cycle of positive experience results

Today, at Batumi City Council Session Hall the meeting of the Commission of Education, Culture, Tourism and Sport Issues was held.

Today, at Batumi City Council Session Hall the joint project- “What is European Integration?” was presented by the fund “Open Society” and “Romania’s European Research Centre”. The aim of this presentation was to inform citizens about European integration process.

On 29-th of March Batumi Youth City Council session was held at Batumi City Council Session Hall. The session was attended by the Deputy Chairman of Batumi City Council- Irakli Chavleishvili and the Chairman of the Faction “Georgian Dream-Republicans” – Theimuraz Kurashvili.

Today, member of Batumi City Council’s faction “National Movement” Nodar Dumbadze held briefing in the meeting hall of City Council.

Today the Chairman of Batumi City Council- Irakli Tcheishvili together with the City Council members and representatives of Batumi City Hall and Supreme Council paid a homage to the memory of heroes and laid a wreath on their memorial.

The renovated Khariton Akhvlediani Museum was opened in Batumi today. The ceremony was attended by the Deputy Chairmen of Batumi City Council- Lasha Sirabidze and Irakli Chavleishvili and the members of the city council. 

Stated meeting was held in Batumi Municipality City Council, where were discussed seven issues foreseen by the agenda.

The Deputy Chairman of Batumi City Council- Irakli Chavleishvili, the head of the Education, Science, Culture and Sports Committee of the Supreme Council of the Autonomous Republic of Adjara- Giorgi Masalkini, and the Deputy Head of the Sports and Youth Affairs Department of the Autonomous Republic of Adjara- Lasha Chavleishvili, paid a return visit to Ukraine and Poland

Today the residents of Gonio have gathered again in front of the Batumi Municipality building. The residents are waiting for the commission’s final report about recognition of property rights on the parcels of land which were confiscated in 2010.

The regular session was held at Batumi Municipality City Council. The session was attended by the Mayor of Batumi - Giorgi Ermakovi.
