Today, the Chairman of Batumi City Council Suliko Tebidze and members of City Council in the frames of “Batumi urban development project” together with the advisory council and society of “Batomi” carried out working meeting.

There is ongoing discussion of 2019 year budget of Batumi Municipality, the main financial document is defined by 154 361,6 GEL, the priority directions are still the following: development of infrastructural projects, ecological state and development of recreation infrastructure, education, culture, support of youth, sport, health protection and social secure, economic and urban development of city, development of public services.

Today, in Batumi Luka Asatiani Meeting Hall was carried out discussion of acting plan of sustainable urban transport, as it was said by the head of Batumi City Hall Municipal Politics Service-EterLomadze, the given acting plan is prepared in the frames of “Green Cities” projects by “Black Sea Eco Academy” and “City Institute Georgia”, the aim of the projects is aid of Batumi Municipality in planning sustainable urban transport.

Today, the Chairman of City Council Suliko Tebidze and the majoritarian deputy Mikheil Artmeladze, together with the mayor of city Lasha Komakhidze and Vice-Mayor Tengiz Petridze visited the population of Gonio-Kvariati Administrative Unit.

Basic issues of health and social defense politics are: Increase of accessibility of high quality medical service to the population, assistance of integration of social medical groups and social rehabilitation, protection of financial risks that were not covered by acting state medical programs, assistance in development of Batumi as medical tourism center and increase of medical services in different institutions.

Today, the Chairman of City Council SulikoTebidze attended national celebration “Matchakhloba 2018” with the Chairman of Ajara Government TornikeRizhvadze and representatives of Ajara Government. This celebration is carried out for 11th time. During the celebration different local hand made things were exhibited and concert of folklore ensembles was carried out.
