Today, at the primary meeting of Batumi Municipality City Council, by the initiative of the Chairman of City Council Suliko Tebidze, presenter of the petition is defined in amount of 0,5% of elector, this sentence was supported by the members of City Council.
By the said of the Chairman of City Council Suliko Tebidze decrease of 1% barrier to 0.5% will make easier to the citizens to bring their ideas and initiatives to the municipality and will help to increase their involvement in the processes important for the city.
With the receipt resolution changes were done in the regulations of City Council which entries into force upon its publication.
