Today, The Chairman of Batumi City Council Suliko Tebidze hosted consulate-general of Turkey in Batumi- Makbule Koçak. The Chairman of City Council congratulated the consulate with appointment and wished success in further activity.
The meeting concerned mutual negotiation of sides, trade-economic relations, improvement of investment environment and tourism sphere, and the consulate spoke about problems of Sarphi border and said that after reconstruction works, it will be easier to cross the border. The Chairman of City Council thanked consulate-general with the hospitality and presented symbolic gifts.
