Today, nearby the territory of Batumi Boulevard Colonnades memorial of main gardener and famous decorator was opened. The official opening ceremony attended the Chairman of City Council, their members, Mayor of City, representatives of Ajara government and other institutions. 

Iason Gordeziani was main gardener and famous decorator of Batumi. He was born in 1876 year in village Sakao, Ratcha. In 1911 year he finished agricultural national institute of Versailles with honor. After graduation he continued working in France, Belgium, Sweden, Holland gardening agriculture.
In 1913 year, January he returned back to Georgia and became main architecture of Botanical Garden.
In 2017 year the administrator of Batumi Boulevard declared competition of creation sculpture of IasonGordeziani, where from 7 sketches was revealed the best sketch of sculptorIrakliTsuladze.
For the purchase of the sketch of the monument, from the budget of boulevard was spent 4200 GEL and for preparation of bronze monument was spent 128 174 GEL.
