Today, the Chairman of Batumi City Council Suliko Tebidze and the members of City Council, attended presentation of archive documents brought from the State Historical Archives of Russia in the Archives Administration of Ajara. These archives materials were brought to Batumi with the support of the Chairman of Ajara Government Zurab Pataradze and with financial help of Georgian businessman Badri Kakabadze living in St. Petersburg. Director of Archives Administration Maka Ivanishvili spoke about materials presented in the list of archives documents. By the said of Maka, study of the presented materials is very important for the historiography of our city, region as well as Georgia. The event attended wife of the Chairman of Ajara Government Sophio Bakuridze, representatives of scientific and academic community acting in Ajara.
