Today, The Acting Chairman of Batumi City Council Lasha Sirabidze and The Chairman of Financial and Economic Development Commission Tengiz Apkhazava, presented remarks and recommendations of 2017 year local budget project sent by The City Council to The City Hall at the meeting hold in The City Council. Remarks, recommendations and own opinions also were shared by the representatives of different factions.
Meeting also attended representatives of non-governmental organizations, media and political parties and citizens interested in this topic. The ending of the meeting was hold in the regime of FAQ. Citizens and representatives of non-governmental organizations expressed their opinions connected with the budget project, questions were asked to the representatives of different parties of The City Council Members and answers were received by the elected authorities.

This meeting was hold in the frames of National Democratic Institute (NDI) and by the local self-governing program, which is financed by USA International Development Agency (USAID) and Sweden International Development Agency (SIDA).
