Today was held extraordinary meeting at City Council. Issues foreseen by the agenda were presented to colleagues by the Acting Chairman of City Council Lasha Sirabidze.
By the decision made at the meeting, due to the election of Ajara Supreme Council membership and recognition of their authority, authority of the membership of Batumi Municipality City Council was terminated pre-term to Irakli Tcheishvili, Giorgi Tsintskiladze and Davit Tedoradze.

Members of City Council supported changes in the order about giving to the state free of charge real estate being in the property of Batumi Municipality, according to which is planned rehabilitation of the café “Rvapekha” situated nearby the territory of seaside park, for which it is necessary that this territory and building be listed in the ownership of Ajara Autonomous Republic, without having any defects in authority.
Today also City Council considered appropriate issue about giving 2500,0 square meter of plot situated in Batumi, Adlia settlement to Georgian State Security Service free of charge.
At the extraordinary meeting, members of City Council supported dismantling of wrecking house situated in Batumi, №55/24 Maiakovski Street and instead of building new house, ensuring citizens with compensation amounts. Also changes were made in the staff list of Batumi City Council administrative office; two employees were upgraded in the positional category.
