Today, member of Batumi City Council Natalia Zoidze participated in the regional forum on the topic of eco-migration state politics.
Aim of the forum is improvement of eco-migration state politics and holding different workshops on this topic in the region where participated representatives of central and local authority (62 municipalities) civil and media organizations and independent experts.
After workshop will be evaluated integration of eco-migrants suffered after natural disasters and then settled by the state, opportunities of its economical strengthen and practice of state support for local settlement. There also will be analyzed existed experience, will be evaluated state politics and expediency of so called “Social Houses”.
Forum is carried out by finances of European Union in the frames of the project “Eco-migrant and advocating campaign of potential eco-migrant families”. The European Fund and The Institute of Democracy are organizers of this event.
