Today, the acting chairman of Batumi City Council – Lasha Sirabidze together with the representatives of “Institute of Democracy” – Geno Geladze and Archil Khakhutaishvili held the working meeting in the frames of the project “Petition- the voice of the people in the self-government”.  From the City Council side the meeting was attended by the chairman of health and social affairs commission- Dimitri Darchia, the city council member- Natalia Zoidze and the chief specialist of legal department- Dodo Oniani.
At the meeting Lasha Sirabidze noted that the representatives of the city council welcome the active engagement of the citizens in the self-government activities.
In the frames of the project the 7 petitions are received in the self-government. At this stage the self-government is in the process of considering the petitions initiated by the citizens.
